It is a known fact that PEPPER adds heat (warmth) and depth (deepness, intense and extreme energy) to nearly any dish (matter). There are a variety of 'peppers' (women)
some are minimum in heat (fire- a powerful and needed element) and some are maximum in heat and it promotes intestinal (inner being) health.

It is a known fact that SPINNING (rotating or alternating) yourSELF and your gifts is a healthy movement for the WOMBniverse. We (Women Especially) have so many gifts, we can not be selfish or in our egos to the point that we do not allow our body, mind, and spirit time to rest and our women (sistar) counterparts a moment to share their gifts as well. We shall give and receive LIGHT and LOVE

It is often called the POWERHOUSE of the cell and converts energy. Researchers have found that Mitochondrial DNA, under ideal conditions would or could last about 6.8 million years.

We also possess PEPPER, a fire element that aids us in creation and destruction (of our old selves), which leads to our transformation. We must not view this destruction as negative. It is our divine ability to renew ourselves rightly dividing this WORLD. However, this fire element can be use in a negative manner but that is only in defense of our being. Our fire element shall not be taking advantage of for we will rip what we sow.

Oni Abeni, this is another side of you... Salt-n-Pepa! They did give a voice to women in the 80's. They addressed issues that the industry did not want them to. Let's talk about Sex was a powerful song and statement for young girls in the 80's and so forth. The messages they stood for in some of their songs were inspiring and empowering for young girls if they listened and are still relevant today. Music was a positive outlet in those days. There were many female rappers that spoke to and for women in hopes of empowering them and uplifting them, as well as changing the image of women in the industry and in the world. Salt-n-Pepa was one of the many female groups that made a difference in women now that were young girls then. I think it is very clever how you related Salt, Pepper, and Spin with The Whole Wombman. Once again, I am impressed Oni Abeni. You are a different kind of Woman and Spiritualist. I admire that in you... it Ain't nuthin but a She thing... :)
ReplyDeleteDivine Wombman... YES IT IS... THANK YOU for being loyal and true... you are most gracious and I am eternally grateful. Music is therapy and motivating in so many ways and YES IT WAS a positive outlet back in the day. From Express yourself to Heaven and Hell Salt-n-Pepa (including Spin) was influential and inspiring women in my eyes. Although, it was controversial media surrounding the group and their personal lives at times. They still had/have my respect. It took a lot to be in the industry and be a woman back in the day and in some instances now as well. Especially, if you were versing on real matters. I choose this group and title because they were positive and inspiring for women and the lyrics in reverse reminds us of the strength of our men as well. In this B.L.O.G. series, the goal is to be inspiring, influential, empowering and uplifting for all women in all walks of life and in all matters. The relation of women to Salt, Pepper, and Spin(ning) came to mind after the chorus 'What a Wombman, What a Wombman, What a Wombman, What a mighty GOoD Wombman... Oh, Yes she is now!' entered my thoughts. It was most definetely divinely sent to and through me. I give all honor to the Ancestors, Spirit guides and G.O.D. for bringing such divine insight to my eyes... in my eyes. My womb's desire is that somewomb somewhere in the Wombniverse is/was inspired, influenced, empowered or uplifted in some way... whether they comment or not. You always inspire, influence, empower and uplift me and I am most humble and honored to be in your realm of thinking... Divine Love and Guiding Light Queen Sistar... until we meet again... you are right... it Ain't nuthin but a She thing' :)
DeleteThis is clever, comical and contagious... What a wombman, what a wombman... LOL:) I think you did well putting Salt-n-Pepa plus Spin in the mix. The Spin part was the most influential to me. I think it is 'Very Necessary' for us as women to play these songs around our younger generations and rotate this empowerment back into the minds of our youth because the influence they have now is not fully negative but this era was indeed VERY NECESSARY and powerful for many women. Thanks for the trip down Hip Hop female Emcee Lane... I miss the essence of Hip Hop and women of Hip Hop as well... Peace to the Wombniverse

That was a GOoD album, None of your Business was a favorite along with What a Man and Heaven and Hell.
